- Can I order by phone?
Yes, please contact Maldon Cookshop on 01621 853770 and our friendly staff will take your order and let you know if it is in stock or whether it will have to be ordered.
- Can I visit or collect items direct from the shop?
Yes, of course you may and we would be very pleased to see you. Our address is Maldon Cookshop, 124 High Street, Maldon, Essex, CM9 4UG.
- Can I order an item that you don’t stock?
Yes, if an item is not in stock please either email us at shop@maldoncookshop.co.uk or alternatively phone us on 01621 853770 and we will endeavour to help you find the item you require.
- How quickly will I receive my order?
Goods will normally be despatched with in 24 hours of receiving your order unless it is out of stock when you will be notified. Please should allow 7 working days for delivery
- Can I get advice on items?
Our expert staff are always on hand to offer help and advice about any product in our range – whether its to help you decide between products or information about a particular product please don’t hesitate to contact us.
- Do you make local deliveries?
We will make free local deliveries in the Maldon area.
- What happens if I decide to return the product to you?
If any product does not meet your expectations please notify us immediately then return the product to us unused and in resalable condition, in the original packaging within 28 days and we will either refund your money or replace the item. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
- Is my purchase dishwasher safe?
That depends on the materials’ used to make the product so as a rule of thumb – if it doesn’t say on the packaging that its dishwasher safe it probably isn’t, so our advice would be to wash by hand.
- Can I put my kitchen knives in the dishwasher?
Although the materials used in the manufacture of kitchen knives are dishwasher safe, in order to preserve the delicate cutting edge on the blade, we recommend you wash them carefully by hand and wipe dry immediately. This is because the blade could be damaged by rubbing against other metal items in the dishwasher.
- Can I use any type of utensil in my non stick pan?
Most non-stick surfaces are pretty good quality nowadays but we would always advise the use of wood or silicone rubber tools and utensils when cooking with non-stick pans. Never use sharp objects and when cleaning, soak in warm soapy water first then wipe with a suitable non-stick friendly scourer.
